Ava Sergio

Ava is an undergraduate student studying Marine Biology and completing an Environmental Impact Assessment certificate at Dalhousie University. She is in the co-op program working with conservation organizations like Oceans North on various campaigns such as Canada's MPA standards and sustainable forage fisheries management. In addition to her roles at F(earth)er, she is also a volunteer in the Future of Marine Ecosystems Lab at Dalhousie working to predict marine ecosystem health in a changing climate. In her spare time she enjoys progressing her scuba diving skills as a certified PADI Open Water Diver.
